The New Formulation Lab is a research institute that develops new future-oriented formulations, currently studying candidate formulations that can be commercialized within 2-3 years. As a new organization established in 2017 to enhance formulation and sensory technologies, the lab carries out its role of discovering future competitiveness in addition to product development. Recently, the Innovation Lab further expanded its research fields to cover ultra-low viscosity milky liquids, emulsifier-free formulations, and emulsion blending using polymers of certain blocks, to create unique sensory technologies through new approaches. Major technologies include: low-viscosity and high-viscosity emulsion blending using tri-block copolymers, and high-concentration vitamin C stabilized anhydrous balm formulation technology.
